WHAT ARE LEMON BALM AND L-THEANINE?

L-theanine is a naturally occurring amino acid found in small amounts in natural food sources.

Lemon balm is a member of the mint family that thrives in gardens and yards. Its primary characteristic is a strong, citrus-like aroma. As a result, lemon balm is often referred to as lemon mint. Depending on factors such as climate, growth stage, and age, lemon balm can contain anywhere from 0.01% to 0.33% essential oil, composed of 16 terpenes, with citral being the dominant one (75-85%). This essential oil is known for its calming effects. Lemon balm also contains approximately 150 mg of vitamin C, organic acids, about 5% tannins, mucilage, and up to 20% fat in its seeds.

1 capsule contains: 300 mg of Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) leaves extract (equivalent to 3000 mg of pure Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) leaf powder), 200 mg of L-theanine (from green tea extract).
